How much does a gym website cost in 2026
From €400 for a template to €5,000 for a premium brand site. We break down what you actually get at each tier — and when you're paying for a dumpster fire.
When a gym owner first looks at website prices, something usually surprises them. Either it's offers for €200 promising a professional site in a week, or agencies at €8,000 that won't even explain what's included. The reality sits in between — and knowing the difference saves you money.
Three price tiers and when each makes sense
Each one has its right customer. The problem starts when you buy the cheap one and need the expensive one — or the other way around.
1. Template — €300 to €800
A Wix, Webflow template, or WordPress theme. Ready in a week, looks decent at first glance. You're paying for setup, domain, and someone swapping the photos and text. The design is generic — 20 other gyms in the country have the same site.
- ✅ When it makes sense: you're just opening, budget under €1,000, and you need something to put up.
- ❌ When it backfires: you want to stand out from competitors. A template looks like a template — and customers feel it subconsciously.
2. Premium custom site — €1,500 to €3,500
Site built from scratch. Custom design, brand felt in every pixel, animations, a CMS where you edit content yourself. Load time under a second, Lighthouse 99+, SEO-tuned. Delivered in 3 – 4 weeks.
- ✅ When it makes sense: you're growing, you have existing members, and you want to attract a higher-quality audience through brand presence.
- ✅ When it pays back fastest: if you spend even €100/month on Meta ads, a premium site lifts your conversion rate 20 – 50 % and pays for itself in half a year.
- ❌ When you don't need it: if the site is just a static business card, leads nowhere, and people book everything by phone anyway.
3. Full portal — €5,000 and up
Site + membership system + bookings + payments + admin panel. This isn't a website, it's software. Takes months to build, needs maintenance, legal work, and usually a monthly hosting + support fee.
- ✅ When it makes sense: large gym, 500+ active members, mobile app on the roadmap, franchise ambitions.
- ❌ When you don't need it: if an existing tool (Reservio, Mindbody) can be hooked into your site for five times less.
What actually drives the price
- Number of pages and sections (5 vs 15 — huge time difference)
- Animations and micro-interactions (the hardest visual piece)
- Multilingual support (SK + EN = more text, more testing)
- CMS for independent content updates
- Blog / news / event gallery
- Integrations — booking system, newsletter, analytics
Where our prices come from
For gyms we offer two tiers: Business card from €890 (4 – 5 pages, clean design, mobile-first) and Brand site from €1,900 (premium animations, CMS, blog, SEO+, 3 revision rounds). Both delivered in 2 – 4 weeks, and you own all the code and content.
